Product description

KKE Auto 1000 – The First Step to a Flawless Correction

The product is built as the opening move in any serious paint correction job — where the finish has been dulled by years of wash marring, sun exposure, or neglect, and a lighter polish alone won't cut it. Auto 1000 carries a heavy-cut abrasive load designed to physically level the clear coat around deep defects, rather than simply masking them with fillers, so the improvement holds up over time rather than washing out after a few rinses.

Aggressive Cutting Power Without Losing Control

"Heavy Cutting Compound" isn't just a label claim — the formula is built to break down major imperfections like deep swirl marks, fine scratches, water spot etching, and oxidised, chalky paint in as few passes as practical. At the same time, the compound is engineered to stay workable on the panel long enough for even, controlled correction, rather than drying out and grabbing the pad mid-pass.

Built for Machine Polishing, Flexible Enough for Hand Use

Auto 1000 is designed to be worked with a dual-action (DA) or rotary machine polisher and a wool or heavy-cut foam pad for full-panel correction work, while remaining usable by hand with a foam applicator for small chips, spot scratches, or touch-up areas where a machine isn't practical.

Clean Diminishing-Abrasive Behaviour

As the compound is worked across the paint, its abrasive particles break down and reduce in size, refining the cut as the pass continues instead of leaving coarse scouring marks behind. This keeps pad loading to a minimum and means the surface is left in a workable state for the next stage, rather than needing a harsh clean-up step in between.

Stage One of the KKE Two-Step System

Auto 1000 is formulated to pair directly with KKE Auto 2000 medium polish. Once the heavy defects are leveled and the surface is buffed clean, Auto 2000 takes over to remove the fine marring left behind by the cutting stage and bring up the final gloss — giving detailers a complete, predictable two-step path from damaged paint to a corrected, wax-ready finish.

Application Steps

Wash and clay the panel so it is fully free of dirt, tar, and bonded contamination before machine work

Apply a moderate, even amount of compound to a cutting pad (wool or heavy-cut foam)

Spread the product across a manageable work area at low speed before increasing to working speed

Work the compound in overlapping passes with firm, even pressure until it begins to turn clear/less abrasive

Wipe the panel clean with a clean microfiber towel and inspect the finish under direct or LED light

Repeat on adjoining panels, then move to KKE Auto 2000 for the polishing stage
