HYDROFLOC

Every car wash and workshop produces muddy, oily wastewater. KKE HydroFloc is an aluminium-based coagulant that helps clear this water in a settling tank, so it can be reused or discharged more responsibly.

When HydroFloc is mixed into wastewater, fine dirt and suspended particles that would otherwise stay cloudy in the water clump together into heavier flakes. These settle to the bottom of the tank as sludge, leaving clearer water above that can be drawn off.

• Clearer water for reuse in pre-wash or for discharge.
• Economical — only 50–100 ml per 100 L of wastewater in most cases.
• Simple to run — works in a basic settling tank.

Wastewater settling tanks at car wash centres, service stations, workshops, fleet depots and vehicle wash bays.

1. Collect the wastewater in a settling tank.
2. Pre-mix the required dose of HydroFloc with 10 parts of clean water. Typical dose: 1 part in 1,000 to 2,000 parts of wastewater (50–100 ml per 100 L); for heavily soiled or oily water, up to 1 part in 500 (200 ml per 100 L).
3. Pour into the tank and stir well for 2–3 minutes, then gently for 5 minutes.
4. Leave undisturbed for 30–60 minutes until the dirt settles to the bottom.
5. Draw off the clear water from the top and remove the settled sludge regularly.

Acidic — irritating to skin and eyes. Wear rubber gloves and eye protection. Do not mix with alkaline cleaners or bleach. Store only in the original plastic container. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water for 15 minutes. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; give water and get medical attention. Keep out of reach of children.
