Car Finishing and Polishing

Car finishing and polishing is the final stage of the paint correction process, which is the process of restoring and enhancing the paint on a vehicle. This stage involves using specialized tools and products to achieve a high level of shine and gloss on the paint surface.

The first step in Car Paint Correction process is to use a Cutting Compound to correct the areas with high swirl marks or some light scratches.

Once you are done with the Cutting Process,  use a finishing polish, which is a mild abrasive that helps to remove any remaining fine scratches or swirl marks that may have been left behind after the previous stages of paint correction.

The polish is applied using a dual action polisher, also known as a random orbital polisher, which spins the polishing pad in a random orbital pattern. This helps to prevent burning the paint or creating new scratches.

Next, a sealant or wax is applied to the paint surface to protect it from environmental factors such as UV rays, rain, and road grime. This will also enhance the shine and depth of the paint.

Finally, the surface is cleaned and inspected one more time for any missed imperfections, if found then corrected, the vehicle is then ready to be delivered to the customer.
